The media brand will launch with daily editorial, industry newsletters, business events and branded content.

“Digiday Media believes that technology is changing the fashion and luxury industries, from how products are made to how marketing is done,” says Nick Friese, CEO of Digiday Media. “Glossy is the first Digiday Media brand to focus solely on fashion and luxury, and marks the media company’s official foray into the two industries.”

Glossy is for those decision-makers obsessed with the future of fashion and luxury, with a focus on high-end marketers, executives, leadership and technologists. “Digital is the impetus behind almost every decision right now,” says Pathak. “With online sales of luxury goods growing four times faster than offline, where brands spend their money and their resources has shifted as well.”

To reflect this evolving industry, Glossy’s coverage will feature a rotating series of hot topics chosen by the editors, instead of fixed content verticals start. The current hot topics include the Instagram Effect, The Social Circle and Unlocking Luxury. The media brand is planning its first industry event for Fall 2016 in New York City in addition to a full service job board for employers and employees.

Digiday Media is actively seeking new opportunities in additional verticals.
