Digiday is shortlisted for Digital Publisher of the Year at the 2017 AOP Digital Publishing Awards

New York, NY — Digiday announced today that it has been nominated for Digital Publisher of the Year (B2B) at the 2017 AOP Digital Publishing Awards.

Part of the awards’ Grand Prix category, the award recognizes the media business which has demonstrated outstanding achievements across all brands and publishing activity in the B2B sector. This is the second consecutive year that Digiday has been a finalist at the AOP Digital Publishing Awards. In 2016, Digiday was nominated for Best Use of Technology for its TL;DR reading feature that condensed stories into 100-word summaries.

“It’s a top honor for our team to be selected as a finalist for the very prestigious AOP Awards,” said Digiday Media CEO Nick Friese. “The AOP sets such high standards for the media and publishing industry in the UK so we are absolutely thrilled with the nomination.”

The nomination highlights Digiday Media’s continued brand growth and recognition in the UK and across Europe. In 2017, Digiday will hold six media and marketing events in Europe, in addition to four awards galas. These galas honor the best campaigns and and innovations in publishing, video, content marketing and general media and marketing excellence.

The AOP Digital Publishing Awards are presented by the Association of Online Publishers, a UK-based trade organization representing digital publishers that create quality original content. Member companies include Digiday, Telegraph Media Group, Time Inc., Reuters, Bauer Media Group and the BBC.

Winners will be announced at the AOP Digital Publishing Awards Dinner on June 28, 2017 at Old Billingsgate, London.
